Dr. Keegan is Board Certified and a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He has practiced oral and maxillofacial surgery in the Baltimore area since 1996. Dr. Keegan graduated from Georgetown University, Washington, D.C. with a major in Biology and a minor in English. He received his dental degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, Boston, MA and then completed a General Practice Residency at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Washington, D.C., where he was chosen as Chief Resident. Dr. Keegan completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Columbia University College of Physician and Surgeons/St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York City.
Dr. Keegan is Chief of the Department of Oral-Maxillofacial Surgery and Dentistry at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore as well as Division Chief of Oral-Maxillofacial Surgery. He is a member of the Medical Executive Committee at Sinai. Dr. Keegan serves as the Sinai Hospital site Director of resident training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery for the University of Maryland Medical System’s program. He has been appointed as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Maryland, School of Dentistry.
Dr. Keegan’s interests include hiking, travel, photography and classic literature. He enjoys spending time outside the office with his three children.
